Comments:
- An outstanding technical copy
- A movie critic on the DVD’s cover said it best: “Pitch Black meets Alien w/ a little twist”. “Pitch Black” because the creatures that are the nemesis of the main characters are bat-like in appearance also, & uses sonar as its main means of looking at its environment; “Alien” because the creatures pick off the main characters one by one. As for the twist, it is a biological sci-fi sort of twist, that is relatively unexpected, something relatively new.
- Its a pretty good movie, lots of thrills & scares, & very effective in delivering those. “Highly Recommended”.

- Great technical copy
- 2 discs
- The movie is based on a book, a novel that was based on the history of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), but fictionalized, & sort of summarized. If followed the careers of a couple of CIA operatives as they go thru the Cold War.
- All the important events in the CIA’s history is included in the movie, & can be quite informative & at the same time very entertaining as one is immersed in the cloak & dagger world of espionage.
- Another terrific movie, one of the rare ones I’m rating as “Must-Have”

- Decent technical copy
- From the same Director of “Training Day”, comes another film which puts more focus on the relationship of the main characters in the film. Even more so in this film, since the plot is quite flimsy. Its like watching a more serious version of Seinfeld, where the character interactions & dialogue have more premium than anything else in the movie.
- The movie basically follows the day to day activities of 2 friends as they go on w/ their lives, in this instance as they go about finding a job. The acting is intense, & one of the best qualities of the movie. As is the dialogue.
- Personally, I did find the movie a bit dragging, despite the great acting & dialogue. Am rating it “Not Recommended”, despite being a great technical copy.

- Great technical copy
- The movie is basically about the current Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II, set around the time of Princess Diana’s death, which ushered in a crisis in England’s monarchy
- Everything about the movie is pretty good: The acting is subduedThe acting is superb, the storyline, dialogue, characterizations, etc., coming up w/ a movie which allows us to glimpse into the life of the royal family.
- A terrific movie, am rating it as “Highly Recommended”.

- Crappy technical copy. Has a half-second lipsynch problem on my Kebao KB-6089 DVD player.
- What I like most about this movie, is they made a lot of effort trying to make the storyline as realistic as possible. How he made his comeback, the reasons for his comeback, even up to the fight itself, the Writers just did a heck of a job ensuring that it would somewhat feasible if it were to happen in real life. Nothing was forced, everything just seems to go easily into place.
- They even bought that main character from the hit TV series, “Heroes”, as his son for extra star power.
- Here it seems Sylvester Stallone is finally saying goodbye to his character of “Rocky”. Lots of flashback scenes, lots of nostalgia, & a very graceful exit, w/ his character finally fading away waving goodbye at the end of the movie.
- Great movie, crappy technical copy. Would’ve been a “Must Have” were it not for that technical problem, but just rating it as “Recommended”. Will definitely be looking for a better copy of this movie to add to my collection.

Comments:
- The breathtaking chase seen at the start of the movie established the tone that this is going to be a great movie.
- I thought the Zombie genre movie had been played to death already, that there are going to be few if any innovations out there are going to come up, but this movie proved me wrong. It’s well thought out, lots of action & excitement.
- In terms of tone & suspense, it’s like one of those shoot-them-up PC Games, successfully transferred to the big screen.
- The movie does have a lot of gore, though, as expected, & it can be really quite gruesome at times, like when a helicopter went out to literally chop thru a bunch of Zombies w/ its main rotor.
- Would’ve liked it better had this been in AWS, but at its present form of Full Screen, DVD copy, is good enough. MUST HAVE movie.

- Crappy technical copy. Works well, until about halfway thru the movie, then starts to freeze for a couple of seconds. Finally froze for the last time, & the disc simply stopped showing the movie (am using a Kebao KB-6089 DVD Player).

- When I saw this movie a couple of months ago, I felt this would be better viewed on DVD because of the higher resolution, thus making the CGI cinematography even better. And I was right. The visuals are just stunning when viewed on DVD, making it truly one of the most beautiful movies ever made.
- Even after viewing it the 2nd time, the movie still has that power to enthrall & captivate. I remember it as a short movie, but its actually almost 2 hrs. long. There’s just so many good things to absorb that it makes the whole viewing experience seem shorter than it actually is. Destined to be one of the best movies of all time, just so many things going right for it. Its like viewing a graphic novel.
- Terrific technical copy, w/ 5.1 audio unlike the previous DVD copies out there. MUST HAVE.

Comments:
- An all-star cast: Nice to see Val Kilmer back as a major screen character. He reportedly nearly ruined his career (actually, he did), by acting like a primadonna, or an outright jerk when he was at the height of his popularity.
- Denzel was a bit annoying sometimes w/ his I-can-be-a-pushy-jerk attittude onscreen, but a minor distraction.
- Jim Caviezel is back again as a villain, as he had done a couple of times before.
- The leading lady was quite attractive & charismatic in the time she was on the screen, definitely a scene-stealer.
- A pretty good action-thriller, another one from Denzel, & a good one, as usual. Was a bit surprised that there was a considerable sci-fi aspect to it. Great technical copy, Highly Recommended.

Comments:
- A pretty good, entertaining, action-adventure comedy. A bit formulaic, but I thought the Writers & Director pulled it off very well. Lots of good, funny moments, & all 4 characters blended off very well with each other.
- The characterizations were great, each of the main characters was given ample time & material to work with onscreen.
- Watch for Paul Sr. & Paul Jr.’s (from Discovery Channel’s “American Chopper”) cameo appearance at the start of the movie.
- I felt John Travolta looked uncomfortable on some of his scenes, but its not much of a distraction.
- Highly recommended.
